Right now the most beautiful rain so far this year is falling...and I was lucky enough to be out in it for an extended period of time.

Light, but not too light, heavy, but not too heavy...perfect temperature right around 67-70 degrees...no real wind...dusk has long past...it's just awesome.

I so do not post enough on here, and I dislike the dust that is developing...but I'm not sure what I want to include in this journal anymore. Hrmm...perhaps I shall think on this some more and at least get back into the habit of posting again.

I finally got the pictures of the work-in-progress on my company's new technology center. Basically we've outgrown our current office space, so we are spilling over into some additional space right across the hall from us.

The pictures are about 3 weeks old or so, so there is no furniture yet, and really nothing is done but the decor, mostly. My camera and the way the sun through the windows overpowered the lights behind me, really do not do the colors justice. The walls are a nice olive green, blood red, and drab tan. Also, there are a few pics I left purposely overshadowed just to give the outside view.

I am putting these pictures up now because I needed to free up space on my camera to take pictures of the now complete area. Hopefully those won't take me 3 weeks to put up too!

Oh! The new office area is being called the Technology Center, and will be housing our development, QA, and systems administration teams. There are a few pictures of our current server room (more like server closet), and the new NOC (network operations center) room that I have already moved into.
